This robotics course project built an R-R-R-P SCARA writing system around a complete evidence chain: handwriting trajectory input, normalization and resampling, kinematic modeling, control simulation, MATLAB visualization, ROS-side validation, and presentation-ready results.
The local repository primarily owns the MATLAB route. It contains the robot model, trajectory-processing pipeline, open-loop and control simulations, quantitative metrics, figures, and repeatable demos. The group report also incorporates ROS implementation and evidence produced by teammates; the archive therefore distinguishes locally reproducible MATLAB claims from group-integrated deliverables.
The final course narrative uses four blocks:
- Project Definition
- Technical Route
- Validation Results
- Wrap-Up
The project is archived because the report and presentation were completed in June 2026 and no further technical scope is planned.
- Use JSON as the exchange format for ordered handwriting strokes.
- Normalize and resample trajectories before planning and control.
- Preserve separate MATLAB and ROS validation routes while using one shared trajectory contract.
- Keep presentation-facing material in English.
- Treat the group report as the narrative authority and the local source tree as the authority for MATLAB implementation claims.
