Do note the connection timeout - FWIW I can browse to https://artifacts.unidata.ucar.edu/#browse/browse:unidata-all and drill down to edu.ucar:cdm-core:5.5.3 - are we certain this isn't transient?

Locally, instead of timeout I see 403 Forbidden 🤷

@pdurbin correct, I was seeing those and they were seemingly non-fatal. These warnings were what prompted Jim and me to poke at this last Friday morning.

W.r.t. the bouncy-castle warnings - along with the warning from ucar I see successes from other places, e.g.:
