loses socket connection when chromebook sleeps

This is still an issue... I made some fixes but ideally instead of depending on a timeout it needs to detect when the computer falls asleep. socket.disconnected does not return the proper value in this case, for some reason.

maybe on blur?

somewhat fixed, but if the computer is left overnight it still is disconnected.
