SHIFT dataset download website not reachable

Hello,

I am currently trying to download the SHIFT dataset using the instructions provided in this repository.

However, the official download website appears to be unreachable from my environment. When I try to access the site:

www.vis.xyz/shift, https://dl.cv.ethz.ch/shift/

I receive the following error:

This site can’t be reached
The server IP address of www.vis.xyz, https://dl.cv.ethz.ch/shift/ could not be found.

Because of this, I cannot proceed with downloading the dataset.

Could you please confirm:

1. Whether the dataset download site has moved to a new URL?
2. If there is an alternative way to download the dataset (for example, via Google Drive, HuggingFace, or another mirror)?
3. Whether the download script in this repository is still functional?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I found a Hugging Face repository containing part of the SHIFT dataset. I hope it includes the data you are looking for:

Thanks @thanhhvnqb for pointing to the HuggingFace mirror. For anyone finding
this thread, I checked the mirror's file tree and it is unfortunately
incomplete for continuous test-time adaptation work.

The mirror at KevinConnorLee/SHIFT contains only:

• discrete/videos/{train,val}/front/ — img.tar, semseg.tar, det_2d.json,
  det_3d.json, det_insseg_2d.json, seq.csv (~116 GB total)
• depth.part.aa..af — flat split archives of depth data (~823 GB)

There is no continuous/ folder at all, so the CTTA benchmark used by
shift-detection-tta and SHIFT-Continuous_Test_Time_Adaptation
(continuous/1x/videos/{val,test}/front/{img,det_2d,semseg,seq}) cannot be
reconstructed from this mirror. The discrete/videos layout also differs
from the discrete/images layout expected by the reference configs.

Confirming that dl.cv.ethz.ch returns NXDOMAIN from Google/Cloudflare/Quad9
DNS (not just 502), so the original host appears to be fully retired rather
than temporarily down.

@mattiasegu — is there any chance the continuous split can be uploaded
somewhere (HF, Zenodo, a university mirror)? Even just
continuous/1x/videos/val/front/{img.tar, det_2d.json, semseg.zip, seq.csv}
would unblock the CTTA benchmarks. Happy to help re-host if the original
files can be shared privately.
