Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, attempting to import a PDF file into Excalidraw drawings in ZenNotes fails with an "unsupported file" error.
For visual thinkers like me, the traditional approach of reading linear text blocks isn't optimal. I see the world in a non-linear, spatial way. Being able to bring PDFs into an Excalidraw canvas to highlight, sketch, and make connections visually is essential for how my mind processes information.
Describe the solution you'd like
Support for importing PDF files into Excalidraw boards within ZenNotes, allowing me to:
- Render PDF pages inside the canvas.
- Annotate, highlight text, and draw directly over the imported PDF pages.
Additional context
This workflow is similar to how the Excalidraw plugin works in Obsidian. Bringing this capability to ZenNotes would make it a truly complete tool for users like me who rely on spatial note-taking rather than standard text documents.
