While using Pop OS, I was unable to change my background with this.
I found a particularly nasty issue: we should use "/usr/bin/gsettngs" instead of "gsettings" for the command.
Maybe it was caused due to unexpected environment variable settings. Also, there was another problem with finding the right command for the system. Instead of using the current way, we can use the solution presented here.
