Automate clean-VM Setup and provider MSIX lifecycle tests

Goal

Cover first install, rejected certificate, trusted test certificate, upgrade, rollback, uninstall, and preserved profile data in disposable Windows VMs.

Acceptance criteria

• Assert a rejected MSIX leaves no partial desktop install.
• Assert upgrade failure restores the prior desktop version.
• Assert a retained prior MSIX is restored when provider registration fails.
• Assert uninstall removes app/provider integration but preserves encrypted profiles.
• Publish only synthetic test artifacts and sanitized logs.
