Hello,

Thank you for the great example. It works on MinGW-w64 GCC 16.1. The controls look a little bit different than in the Microsoft WinUI 2 Gallery application. This is probably because the older styles (UWP?) are used. As far as I understand, App.xaml is needed. If I create one, the application just crashes. Do you have an idea why?

You can't initialize classes outside of stock Windows.UI.Xaml in XAML unless you provide your own IXamlMetadataProvider implementation.

For WinUI 2, the library provided one for its classes, but you still need to supply your own to relay requests to the WinUI 2 one.
