Description
Segmentation Fault Core dumped error on keyboard input:

FATAL ERROR: Failed reading FEBio configuration file /home/<username>/FEBioStudio/bin/febio.xml.Segmentation fault         (core dumped) FEBioStudio

Version:
3.1.0 on Fedora Linux 44
Steps To Reproduce:

1. Start FEBioStudio
2. Click on 'new model'
3. Type anything in the box for 'Model Name'
4. Application hangs, then crashes with a Segmentation fault

Typing text in any other text boxes also crashes it.

Hi @ne-tree,

We just released FEBio Studio 3.2. Can you please try that version instead? So uninstall your current version, download the latest one, and then install that one. Let me know if that solved the crash.

We are unable to reproduce this on our Linux systems so I'm not sure what the problem could be. You mentioned that typing anything in any text box crashes FEBio Studio for you. What happens when you don't type anything in the Model name box when you start a new model. Does FEBio Studio successfully start a new model? Are you able to use it as normal, as long as you don't enter text? Or are there other actions that cause a crash?

Can you also run the ldd command on the FEBioStudio executable, for example:

ldd /FEBioStudio/bin/febiostudio

One possible cause is that you have a library on your system that is not compatible with the system libraries that FEBio Studio expects. Hopefully, the output of the ldd command will tell us something.

I used cursor to fix it, this is what it did. Do you want me to submit an MR
Fix GCC 16 / strict C++17 build and Linux interactive console crashes.

febcode/types.h: include for uint8_t; use instead of <assert.h>.
febcode/types.cpp: include for std::find_if (no longer relies on transitive headers).
FEBio/console.cpp: remove undefined fflush(stdin) calls; use sizeof(szcmd) - 1 in fgets.
fflush(stdin) is UB on POSIX and caused crashes at the febio> prompt on Linux. Missing includes failed the build with GCC 16 and CMAKE_CXX_EXTENSIONS=OFF.
