This is the workflow Jamf currently recommends for PSSO at enrollment with Jamf School. Your "current issue" section doesn't really describe any issue? What is it that is currently not working? |

Hi,
I currently have the macOS Platform SSO payload configured and have followed the Jamf School guide for our setup:
https://learn.jamf.com/r/en-US/jamf-school-documentation/Configuring_a_Platform_SSO_Profile_for_Computers_Microsoft_Entra_ID
I did follow steps from this article to configure profile and app deployment for setup manager - https://github.com/jamf/Setup-Manager/blob/main/Docs/JamfSchool-Setup.md
I have also configured my Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) profile. The current order in the ADE profile is:
1- macOS Simplified Platform SSO profile
2 - Setup Manager
In-house apps:
1-Company Portal
2-School branded icons
3- Setup Manager (final stage)
I'm not sure whether the order of items within the Jamf School ADE profile actually matters.
Current Issue
When I boot a MacBook, enrollment starts correctly and the Device Management screen appears. It then launches Setup Manager and installs the assigned applications. Once the application installation process is completed, the macOS Setup Assistant appears and requires completion before the admin account can be configured.
My question is:
Is there a recommended or best-practice approach for implementing Setup Manager and Platform SSO together in Jamf School?
I'm trying to determine whether my deployment sequence is correct or if there is a better way to configure Setup Manager and Platform SSO to provide a smoother enrollment experience.
