🚀 Quantum Framework 2.9.9 Released

We’re happy to announce the release of Quantum Framework 2.9.9, a solid and important update that focuses on configuration cleanup, language system refactoring, console improvements, demo enhancements, both in the core and the project templates.

This release continues the 2.x line with meaningful refinements and sets a strong foundation for what comes next.

✨ Highlights — Project Updates

• Language configuration moved to a dedicated lang.php
• Refactored and renamed app.php configuration
• Demo improvements:
  • Comment system support
  • Task-based DemoCommand refactor
  • Faker avatar generation for demo users
• Input validation added to console commands
• Updated tests to reflect new core module templates
• Simplified translations (English & Spanish only)
• Removed translation of exception messages
• Console commands, models, and services updated to match latest core changes
• Fixed qt install:demo behavior when modules.php already contains modules

• PHP 8.4 compatibility fixes (nullable params, return types, void declarations)
• Language system fully refactored:
  • Dedicated lang.php
  • Language detection via query params & headers
  • New acceptedLang() server helper
• Config refactor:
  • config.php → app.php
  • 2FA configs reorganized
• Improved routing & middleware loading via PSR-4
• New refreshUser() method for SessionAuthAdapter
• Enhanced model relationship system with explicit type definitions
• Console system improvements:
  • Better command discovery
  • Fixed registration issues
  • New route:list command
• UploadedFile security improvements for blacklisted extensions
• New helpers and loader safeguards (service(), fileExists())
• Demo & toolkit modules refactored and cleaned up
• API responses simplified for post create/update
• Exception handling further clarified and simplified
