aarch64 latest release installation issue M1 Mac installation

Hi, tried to install the aarch64.dmg on an M1 Mac as this should be the right build for the ARM Macs, however, received the following error: “Annotator.app” is damaged and can’t be opened". have you tested the application on a M class chip mac? and do have any guidance about building the app from the codebase, to avoid the installer? Or am I missing something?

I have not tested it as I do not currently have access to any M class Macs around me. Installing from source should be quite doable if you have any experience with compiling programs from source. You will need to install Rust & tauri. Clone the repository, I would advise to take the last stable release to clone as the current head depends on quite some local changes. And then run cargo tauri build to generate an installer. Let me know if you want a more detailed run down of the steps I can try to give a rundown of the exact commands if needed.

Also I will ask around to see if I can borrow a Mac from someone to see if I can create a functional installer that way.
