Reverts #52768

Proposed changes

  • Put the Ads tab back in the Premium Analytics customer preview (PREVIEW_SECTIONS includes ads again). The Ads section is still registered only on sites that use WordAds, so the tab shows only there.
  • Restore the test that checks a registered Ads section is in the preview scope.
  • Add changelog entries for the Ads tab, leaving the Premium Analytics: add the Subscribers and Ads tabs to the customer preview #52720 entries as they are on trunk.

Does this pull request change what data or activity we track or use?

No.

Testing instructions

  • On a site with the Premium Analytics customer preview enabled and WordAds active, open the Premium Analytics dashboard.
  • Confirm the Ads tab appears next to Traffic, Insights and Subscribers.
  • On a site without WordAds, confirm the Ads tab does not appear.
  • jp test php packages/premium-analytics passes.

Are you an Automattician? Please test your changes on all WordPress.com environments to help mitigate accidental explosions.

  • To test on WoA, go to the Plugins menu on a WoA dev site. Click on the "Upload" button and follow the upgrade flow to be able to upload, install, and activate the Jetpack Beta plugin. Once the plugin is active, go to Jetpack > Jetpack Beta, select your plugin (Jetpack or WordPress.com Site Helper), and enable the update/premium-analytics-ads-tab-back-in-preview branch.
  • To test on Simple, run the following command on your sandbox:
bin/jetpack-downloader test jetpack update/premium-analytics-ads-tab-back-in-preview

Code Coverage Summary

This PR did not change code coverage!

That could be good or bad, depending on the situation. Everything covered before, and still is? Great! Nothing was covered before? Not so great. 🤷
