Renovate's @canton-network/** hold only suppresses version PRs. Lock file maintenance still re-resolves floating ranges, so the caret on core-types let it move 1.8.0 -> 1.9.0 past the hold (PR #79). Pin the devDependency, which is what governs what this repo installs; the peer range stays caret so consumers keep a range.
