Background
Opening an activity group was dumping merged thinking as always-open body text, so the thought had no chip and started expanded. Consecutive segments should still merge, but the result should start collapsed like the other activity rows.
df192d8: Merged reasoning goes back through the timeline row, so it renders as one Thinking block that starts closed. The merge of consecutive segments stays.
