feature request: external mpv

hi,
This is exactly what i am looking for an iptv player except external player support. Supporting MPV and VLC is enough i guess, best open source players for years for both GNU\Linux and Win.

Hi,

If you have VLC or MPV installed on your system, you can already use this feature: right-click on any channel and select "Open in External Player." That's it.

It only works for livetv but vod and series.
I would like an option to set the default player.

What is it that GStreamer fails to process on your end regarding the VOD and Series sections? Also, I am not considering this at the moment.

There's just nothing at right click menu. It only works for live chans.

Also, I am not considering this at the moment.
