This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

Deployment Architecture

The production Next.js application performs TFLite inference entirely in the browser. Its Netlify build only requires the Node.js dependencies declared in package.json; it does not require TensorFlow, NumPy, Flask, or a Python runtime.

The older Flask inference service is retained under api/ for local or standalone use. Install its dependencies explicitly when working on that service:

python -m pip install -r api/requirements.txt
python api/index.py

Keeping these requirements under api/ prevents frontend hosting providers from installing the unused TensorFlow server stack during the website build.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.

Deploy on Vercel

The easiest way to deploy your Next.js app is to use the Vercel Platform from the creators of Next.js.
