Stardrop won't launch smapi

Hi,
When I try to launch smapi/stardew through stardrop it doesn't work. Stardrop closes/minimizes itself and then nothing happens. Smapi runs fine without stardrop. Everything is installed in the correct place. All paths are routed correctly according to the guide, it just refuses to launch.

I use the exact same setup on my laptop and Stardrop works perfectly fine. Both laptop and pc use windows 11. everything is updated as it should be.

is there anything I might have missed or is it just bugged on my pc?
