Summary

Two workflow fixes from a retro of the pagination session (#7).

 pnpm verify:ui <steps> <out>
+  start `pnpm dev` if :1420 is free
   run webkit-run.mjs steps
+ stop the dev server again (own process group)

 idea skill
- write docs/ideas/<slug>.md on whatever branch is checked out
-  background agent runs ideas-review
+ branch docs/idea-<slug> off main, write the idea
+ run ideas-review inline, commit both files
  • docs/agents/browser-verification.md and the header of webkit-run.mjs now state that click hits the first match only; use exec for others.
  • Ideas get their own branch, because a worktree-isolated background agent cannot run git and raced with the branch switch.

Evidence

  • Before: the dev server was started and killed by PID by hand on every verification; a wrong click selector cost a run.
    After: pnpm verify:ui with port 1420 free wrote a screenshot, then no vite or WebDriver process was left and the port was free.
ss -ltnp | grep 1420          -> (none)      # before
pnpm verify:ui steps out      -> ok.png written
ss -ltnp | grep 1420          -> (none)      # after

Merge Danger

Door: two-way

Blast Radius: dev workflow

verify:ui uses env -u, so it runs on Linux/macOS shells only; a pnpm dev that is already running is left untouched.
