HttpKiwi/README.md

hey, I'm HttpKiwi

I poke at proprietary hardware until it talks to Linux.

Work in software engineering. Off the clock I break the propietay shackles of my hardware, make FOSS replacements of vendor apps and keep a niri desktop and qs shell in surprisingly working state.

the fun stuff

OpenQCY — Flutter app for QCY earbuds over BLE. ANC, EQ, touch controls, the whole companion-app checklist — without the official app. Built on a reverse-engineered GATT protocol.

GameGent — configure a GameSir Tarantula Pro from Linux via USB HID. No Windows VM, no proprietary DLLs. CLI + a cool UI.

also around

  • niri — my niri dots with QML shell. it's a mess, but i think it's cool.
  • there's some .NET interview take-homes in the repo list if you're hiring and need proof I can do clean architecture (They are pre-AI agents ;))

currently into

Reverse Engineering · tearing apart vendor protocols · making the result something other people can use
