Better Chat UI – Modern & pretty ingame Chat

This mod was built on the Base of my https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3538492515 - forgot to clean the git history..

A client-side BepInEx mod that overhauls the default tiny, short-lived chat messages in the console with a beautiful, readable UI.

You will get a nullref error in the main menu atm, but it can safely be ignored and everything works as intended. Will fix this eventually.

Features 5-message scrolling display (newest on top by default) Player names in bright orange, messages fade out smoothly after 10 seconds (configurable) Multiple styles to choose from: Top-Left, Top-Right, Clear Background, etc. Notification sound on new messages Configurable via BepInEx config file / Workshop Menu ingame Fully clientside — only you need the mod

Why this mod? The default chat is hard to read: tiny blue text in the bottom-left corner that disappears quickly, and speech bubbles only visible when you're right next to someone. This mod fixes that — chat is now always visible, easy to read, and looks great!

Installation Install BepInEx + StationeersLaunchPad (required for Stationeers mods) Subscribe to the Mod in the Workshop Launch the game — the chat UI appears automatically when messages are sent

Configuration Default ChatStyle = TopLeftNewestTop

Available styles:

• TopLeftNewestTop
• TopLeftNewestBottom
• TopRightNewestTop
• TopRightNewestBottom
• TopLeftNewestTopClearBackground

Known Limitations No scrollable history (yet) — only shows the last 5 messages
