Be able to automate the population of computer/device PO Date & Warranty Expiration info from GSX both for individual computers/devices and in bulk via --group and --from-file

Hi @ckay-unsw unfortunately there are no public API endpoints our side that can do this inside Jamf Pro so we can't add this to jamf-cli. Adding support for third party APIs in jamf-cli directly is also outside its scope.

Could surfacing the data from AxM be an alternative - e.g. use the CLI part of https://github.com/rodchristiansen/asbmutil to fetch, then pipe to jamf-cli to patch computers by serial number?

The developer of ASBMUtil doesn’t even bother to sign and notarize their apps so I can’t run it. Both the package and app in the .dmg report as damaged. If you trust it you can remove the quarantine attribute then it will run (I checked in a VM): xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine ./ASBMUtil-2026.06.07.2329.dmg. I get that you'd have reservations about giving access to AxM to to an unsigned binary though...

In all fairness, the source code is there so can be inspected/vetted and the yearly Apple Developer sub which you need to get said code signing cert is expensive, and often prohibitive for folks building open source projects with their own time/resources. Perhaps worth raising an issue on their repo about it, but signposting https://macadmins.io/ - that exists to offer codesigning for exactly this. Henry, Graham and the folks who run it are extremely dedicated and absolutely fantastic humans.
