Hi, I'm Damian "KhazAkar" Zaręba 👋

Test Engineer at ZF by day, tinkerer by night. I like things that sit close to the metal – hardware, firmware, Linux and the tooling that lets you test all of it automatically.

What I'm into

  • Embedded & electronics – KiCad / gEDA boards, ESP8266 firmware, small tools and libraries for lab equipment (autorok)
  • Embedded Linux – BSPs for SBCs (LaFrite-PTXDist-BSP), snaps, dotfiles
  • Rust, Go & Python – my main three languages; learning by building: rust-book & zero2prod projects, Boot.dev courses, stdlib-only API clients
  • Test automation – wrapping instruments and CLIs so that they can be scripted and CI'd
  • AI & agents – experiments with local LLMs (Bielik), MCP servers and agentic tooling (bdh-cq-mcp, dietAIran)
