Hi, I'm Liam

42 Lyon student - I love low-level programming, reverse engineering & graphics.

Take a look at my path tracer: miniRT dinner table

About me

wakatime Root-Me LinkedIn

I've been writing code for about 8 years, and discovered way too many programming languages along the way. What I love about code is being able to create things that actually work from almost nothing. I recently got into reverse engineering and binary exploitation, and I really enjoy the challenge of understanding and exploiting what others built.

My coding history
  • 2026 - Discovered reverse engineering: nearly finished Root-Me's entire cracking category in two months alongside my 42 cursus. Forced myself to get comfortable with x86 ASM, then naturally drifted into binary exploitation.
  • 2025 - Built miniRT, my biggest C project: a full path tracer with GLSL compute shaders. Six months of work, and I'm genuinely proud of the renders.
  • 2024 - Did the 42 piscine. Discovered compiled languages, wrote a lot of terrible C, and met some great people.
  • 2022 - After way too many projects scattered across 14 zip files with creative version names, I finally started using Git.
  • 2021 - Went deep into web dev: started with PHP, switched to Node.js, and spent months building a WhatsApp clone from scratch.
  • 2020 - Wrote my first Minecraft plugins in Java. First time code felt like creating my own tools
  • 2018 - Started with Arduino: mostly copy-pasting programs and hoping components wouldn't catch fire. Worked out most of the time.
