This is issue tracking API built with TypeScript, Express, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Docker, and GitHub Actions CI.

Quick Start

cp .env.example .env
npm install
npm run prisma:generate
npm run prisma:migrate
npm run db:seed
npm run dev

API health check:

curl http://localhost:4000/health

Docker

docker compose up --build

The API runs on http://localhost:4000.

Test

npm run lint
npm test
npm run build

Integration tests expect a PostgreSQL database. The GitHub Actions workflow starts one automatically.

Deployment

This repo includes render.yaml for a GitHub-connected Render deployment with a managed PostgreSQL database.
