Download Switcher for macOS

Switcher shows individual windows instead of grouping everything behind an app icon. Hold Option, press Tab to move, then release to switch.

What it does

• Switches between individual windows with live previews
• Searches windows by title or app name
• Supports multiple displays, spaces, hidden apps, and minimized windows
• Offers configurable layouts, appearance, shortcuts, gestures, and exclusions
• Runs without analytics, crash reporting, automatic updates, or license checkout
• Ships as one universal build for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs

Install

1. Download and unzip Switcher-1.0.0-macOS.zip.
2. Drag Switcher.app into Applications.
3. Right-click Switcher and choose Open the first time.
4. Allow Accessibility and Screen Recording when macOS asks. Accessibility lets Switcher focus windows. Screen Recording lets it show previews.

Switcher requires macOS 10.14.4 or later.

Project history

Switcher is a modified GPL-3.0 distribution of AltTab. MinutesBack maintains this build under its own name, bundle identity, release process, and public website. The original authors remain credited through the repository history and licence.
