AggregationGetRequestclass has been removed from the aggregation module. Any code that directly instantiates this class or uses its builder pattern will need to be updated to use alternative aggregation request methods provided by the API.SearchSimilarPostRequestclass has been removed from the SDK. Applications using this class for search similarity operations will need to be updated to use alternative request handling mechanisms.SimilarDocumenttype has been removed from the SDK. Client method names have been updated for consistency: uselatestHeadlines()instead oflatestheadlines(),aggregationCount()instead ofaggregation(), andsearchByLink()instead ofsearchLink(). Thesearchsimilar()method is no longer available.AggregationClientclass has been renamed toAggregationCountClientand moved from thecom.newscatcher.api.resources.aggregationpackage tocom.newscatcher.api.resources.aggregationcount. All related classes includingAsyncAggregationClient, request types, and response types have been similarly renamed and moved. Update your imports and class references accordingly. New feature: The Stream class now supports SSE event-level discrimination through newfromSseWithEventDiscrimination()methods for handling discriminated unions in Server-Sent Events.aggregationpackage to theaggregationcountpackage. Update imports fromcom.newscatcher.api.resources.aggregation.*tocom.newscatcher.api.resources.aggregationcount.*. The client classRawAggregationClienthas been renamed toRawAggregationCountClient, and all related request/response classes have been updated with the new naming convention (e.g.,AggregationGetRequestis nowGetAggregationCountRequest). Similarly, Authors client request/response classes have been renamed for consistency (e.g.,AuthorsGetRequestis nowGetAuthorsRequest).AuthorsGetRequest,AuthorsGetResponse,AuthorsPostRequest, andAuthorsPostResponseclasses have been renamed toGetAuthorsRequest,GetAuthorsResponse,PostAuthorsRequest, andPostAuthorsResponserespectively. Update your imports and type references to use the new class names.breakingNewsGet()method has been renamed toget(), andbreakingNewsPost()has been renamed topost(). Update your code to use the shorter method names - the functionality and return types remain unchanged.BreakingNewsGetRequestclass has been renamed toGetBreakingNewsRequest. Additionally, therobotsCompliantparameter has been removed. Replace any references toBreakingNewsGetRequestwithGetBreakingNewsRequestand remove usage of therobotsCompliantparameter.BreakingNewsPostRequestclass has been renamed toPostBreakingNewsRequest, and allLatestHeadlines*classes now follow theGet/Postprefix pattern (e.g.,LatestHeadlinesGetRequestis nowGetLatestHeadlinesRequest). TherobotsCompliantfield has been removed from breaking news requests, andtheme/notThemefields now accept String values instead of enum types. Update your imports and field references accordingly.LatestHeadlinesGetRequestclass has been renamed toGetLatestHeadlinesRequest. Update any direct references to use the new class name. The functionality remains the same, with additional optional fields for sorting and link text filtering.LatestHeadlinesPostRequest→PostLatestHeadlinesRequest,LatestHeadlinesGetResponse→GetLatestHeadlinesResponse,LatestHeadlinesPostResponse→PostLatestHeadlinesResponse,SearchGetRequest→GetSearchRequest,SearchPostRequest→PostSearchRequest,SearchGetResponse→GetSearchResponse,SearchPostResponse→PostSearchResponse. Update your imports to use the new class names.SearchGetRequestis nowGetSearchRequest,SearchGetResponseis nowGetSearchResponse,SearchPostRequestis nowPostSearchRequest, andSearchPostResponseis nowPostSearchResponse. Update your imports to use the new class names.searchlinkpackage has been renamed tosearchbylink. Classes and methods within this package have been renamed:RawSearchLinkClientis nowRawSearchByLinkClient,searchUrlGet()is nowget(), andsearchUrlPost()is nowpost(). Update your imports fromcom.newscatcher.api.resources.searchlinktocom.newscatcher.api.resources.searchbylinkand update method calls accordingly.SourcesGetRequestis nowGetSourcesRequestandSourcesPostRequestis nowPostSourcesRequest. New overloadedget()andpost()methods are available that accept onlyRequestOptionsfor simpler usage when no request parameters are needed. TheAdditionalSourceInforesponse type now includes arobotsCompliantfield showing the percentage of domain articles that comply with robots.txt scraping rules.AggregationBytype has been changed from an enum to a class with a visitor pattern. Existing code usingAggregationByenum values will need to be updated to use the new static constants (e.g.,AggregationBy.DAY). TheAggregationsclass has been renamed toAggregationCountResponseDtoAggregations, and theThemeclass has been renamed toAllLinksText. Code referencing these types will need to import the new class names.contentfield inArticleEntityis nowOptional<String>instead of requiredString. Existing code accessing this field must be updated to handle the Optional wrapper. Theauthorsandjournalistsfields now use more specific types (ArticleEntityAuthorsandArticleEntityJournalists) for improved type safety. A newallLinksDatafield is available when using theall_links_textparameter to get detailed link information.Authorstype has been renamed toArticleEntityAuthorsandJournaliststoArticleEntityJournalists. Thecontentfield is now optional instead of required. The deprecatedrobotsCompliantfield has been removed. Code using these types will need to be updated to use the new names and handle the optional content field.ClusteringVariable,NewsDomainType, andSortByenums have been converted to sealed classes with visitor patterns for better extensibility and unknown value handling. TheNotThemeclass has been renamed toBreakingNewsArticleEntityAuthorswith reordered type priority. Existing code using these enums directly or pattern matching will need to be updated to use the new sealed class patterns.logging()method on client builders. Silent by default — enable logging by settingsilent(false)on LogConfig. HTTP requests and responses can now be logged with automatic redaction of sensitive headers.GetAggregationCountRequestclass available for news aggregation endpoints. The request class provides comprehensive filtering options including news sources, languages, countries, date ranges, sentiment analysis, NLP features, and IPTC tagging support.
