Two acceptance criteria on #37 could not be verified when the soil palette was selected in #198, and are carried here so they are tracked rather than lost.
Outstanding from #37:
What was done instead, in #198: the three candidates were rasterized through the build pipeline at full resolution, composited into flat multi-block cliff-face and path-cut mocks, and compared as images, backed by measured luminance, saturation and hue relationships between adjacent soil blocks. That covers the adjacencies the criterion names, but not true 3D perspective or engine lighting.
Palette as shipped (base soil #d98827 -> #c77d38, full table in #198).
This is a verification task, not a re-opening of the decision. The palette is deliberately settled so that Task 2.1.2 (#61, dirt) and Task 2.1.1 (#60, grass block) can proceed without re-authoring. If the 3D inspection does turn up a problem, weigh the cost of re-authoring dirt, coarse dirt, both dirt_path faces, farmland and the grass side overhang before changing the base hue again.
