feat(mchose): support A7 Ultra receivers under VID 0x5253 - #259
Some MCHOSE A7 Ultra receivers enumerate as 5253:1020 ("RealTek"), so the picker never offers them, though they speak the A7 V2 protocol on an identical 0xff01 collection (OpenMouse-Project/openmouse discussion #1043).
Picker filter and MchoseHidClient accept 0x5253, scoped to PIDs 0x1020 (8K receiver, shared with the L7 Pro) and 0x1011 (A7 Ultra wired, unverified, from #1043).
Catalog adds the A7 Ultra (found by name, since its receiver returns empty 0x04/0x06) and the L7 Pro (0x00b0, from alexfrih/mchose-linux). A7 Ultra lift-off steps mirror the V2 Ultra and are unverified.
On 0x5253, commands that only ever return empty echoes are skipped after the first poll.
Verified on the A7 Ultra's 8K receiver: identity/config reads, and a 2000 → 1000 Hz write that read back and restored byte-identical. Notes in docs/mchose-protocol.md.
Note
Add MCHOSE A7 Ultra and L7 Pro support under VID 0x5253
Adds a RealTek vendor ID (0x5253) with product IDs 0x1020 and 0x1011, plus model entries for A7 Ultra (mouse ID 0x1011) and L7 Pro (mouse ID 0x00b0) with DPI, lift-off, and polling-rate specs in index.ts
MchoseHidClient.isSupported accepts 0x5253 devices, and vendors.ts registers matching HID filters
MchoseHidClient.request tracks per-instance unanswered commands (report ID + command + extra tokens). On 0x5253 receivers, a command whose whole poll returns only matching all-zero payloads is skipped on later requests; other vendors keep full polling
Product ID 0x1011 is treated as a wired connection, which affects polling-rate writes
Behavioral Change: the unanswered-command cache in hid.ts lasts for the client instance lifetime, so a receiver that later answers a previously silent command will not be polled again for that key
Some A7 Ultra units enumerate as 5253:1020 (manufacturer "RealTek") with
the A7 V2 family's collections and an identical 0xff01 report descriptor,
and speak the same inverted feature-report protocol. The picker filter
and MchoseHidClient now accept 0x5253, but only with PIDs 0x1020 (8K
receiver) and 0x1011 (wired, from a user report), since 0x5253 is not an
MCHOSE-owned id.
This receiver answers 0x04 and 0x06 with an all-zero payload, so there is
no mouse PID to identify the model; an "A7 Ultra" catalog entry is matched
by product string. Its DPI ceiling and 8K rate list come from the captured
config (a 42000 DPI stage, 2000 Hz at rate index 3); lift-off steps mirror
the A7 V2 Ultra and are unverified.
Verified on hardware through the 8K receiver: identity and config reads,
and a wireless polling write 2000 -> 1000 Hz that read back with no other
byte changed, then restored byte-identical.
The MCHOSE catalog and HID support now recognize Realtek-vendor receiver products for the A7 Ultra and L7 Pro. The client handles empty receiver replies and polling-rate configuration. Tests and protocol documentation cover these behaviors.
Changes: MCHOSE Realtek receiver support

Summary
Product identifiers and HID discovery src/mchose/index.ts, src/mchose/index.test.ts, src/drivers/vendors.ts
The catalog defines the Realtek vendor and product IDs and adds A7 Ultra and L7 Pro entries. HID filters register both supported Realtek products.
The client accepts matching Realtek devices. After a complete poll returns only empty echoes, later requests for that report, command, and extra-token key return null without polling. Receive errors prevent the key from being marked unanswered.
Protocol tests and documentation src/drivers/mchose/hid.test.ts, docs/mchose-protocol.md
Tests cover receiver matching, empty replies, status decoding, polling-rate writes, and wired-link configuration. The documentation records observed receiver responses and configuration changes.

🟠 Highmchose/hid.ts:103
The newly accepted 5253:1011 device is reported as wireless, so readStatus() shows its wireless DPI/rate and the polling-rate and active-stage setters update the wireless config fields instead of the active wired fields. isWired() only recognizes product IDs in MCHOSE_PRODUCTS, which does not include 0x1011; classify this PID as wired when adding support for it.

Avoid exhausting retries for the receiver’s empty replies.
The A7 Ultra receiver returns zero payloads for both commands. Each request therefore runs all 20 attempts. The production delay is 90 ms before every receive, so the version and battery requests add 3.6 seconds of polling delays to every readStatus() before configuration is read.
Bound retries only for this empty-reply behavior. Preserve the existing retry logic for normal RF replies.

The L7 Pro shares the 5253:1020 receiver and reports mouse id 0x00b0, so
without a catalog entry it read as 0 Hz with no settable rates. Its specs
come from github.com/alexfrih/mchose-linux, which verified them on hardware.
The A7 Ultra entry now carries 0x1011, its cable link, as its mouse id, so
MchoseProduct.productId stays required and isWired() needs no special case.
The A7 Ultra's receiver echoes 0x04 and 0x06 with empty payloads on every
poll, which cost 3.6 s per status read. On 0x5253 a command that returns
only empty echoes for a whole poll is now skipped for the session; 0x3837
receivers keep the full poll because their RF replies start out empty.
Re the outside-diff note on empty-reply retries: fixed in a95f5e2. On 0x5253, a command that returns only empty echoes for a whole poll is skipped for the rest of the session, so later status reads no longer spend 3.6 s on 0x04/0x06. 0x3837 receivers keep the full poll, because their RF replies are empty until the mouse answers. Both cases are tested.
Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — Adds narrowly scoped A7 Ultra and L7 Pro support under the older vendor ID, including handling receivers that return empty status replies. Hardware verification and existing configuration-preservation safeguards limit risk, while existing receivers retain their polling behavior.

The 0x3837 test compares only the second battery-command count with firstPoll. If neither read sends a battery command, both lookups return undefined, and the assertion passes. A regression that stops battery polling on 0x3837 would not fail this test.
The current code polls battery on every read for this receiver, so the behavior is working. The gap is in regression coverage, not in a wrong result that the test accepts.
Suggested fix
counts.clear();
await client.readStatus();
+ assert.ok((firstPoll ?? 0) > 0, "the first read polls in full");
assert.equal(counts.get(MCHOSE_COMMAND.battery), firstPoll);

Add a positive battery-command count assertion to the 0x3837 test after the
first `readStatus()` call, using the `firstPoll` count, so the test fails if the
first read sends no battery command. Keep the existing comparison with the
second poll.
