oldDefaultIndex to track the original row through the enabled-row filter when
the slot count changes. Do not use X DPI matching via findIndex; preserve the
mapped row’s index so slots with identical X but different Y remain distinct.
- Line 4452: Update the post-write reload flow around reloadOnboardProfiles so a
failed read invalidates onboardProfiles for subsequent edits while leaving the
current list visible during the read; ensure later slot edits cannot rebuild
dpiSlotPlan from stale profiles.

- Around line 304-305: Update the `inputEdit` logic used by both Logitech number
inputs to track ArrowUp and ArrowDown edits explicitly, and treat all other
changes as typed values. Do not rely on `InputEvent.inputType` being present to
distinguish arrow-key edits; preserve the directional DPI selection only for
tracked arrow-key edits and use `TYPING_DELAY` for typed values.

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Invalidate the profile cache if the post-write read fails.
If writeActiveProfile succeeds but readOnboardProfiles fails, reloadOnboardProfiles catches the error and leaves the old onboardProfiles in place. The flash runner then drops the pending slot change and rebuilds dpiSlotPlan from that stale list. A later slot edit writes the complete old table back with the new edit, which can undo the first write. Keep the list visible during the read, but prevent another edit from using it if the read fails. The driver validates and writes a complete stage plan. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Track the default slot by row when the slot count changes.
If two slots have the same X DPI but different Y DPI, removing an earlier row can move the former default to a later index. findIndex selects the first matching X value instead, so the mouse starts on the wrong X/Y slot after the write. Map the old default row through the enabled-row filter rather than identifying it by X value. defaultIndex selects a slot, not a DPI value. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Add a Y column with a per-slot link button, snap typed DPI to the advertised values (nearest, ties up), keep the starting slot when a value is retyped, wait for a pause while typing, step the arrows to the next advertised value, and keep the slot editor visible while a flash re-reads profiles.
The unified DPI editor dropped the per-slot Y control for Logitech mice. The driver and the slot plan already carry separate X and Y, so this puts it back.
Typecheck and the 401 tests pass.
