build/lib/confluence_md.py — a setuptools wheel-staging copy of the module — was committed in the packaging PR by the same git add -A that brought in the egg-info, and the egg-info cleanup (#17) missed it. Removes the tracked build/ directory; .gitignore already covers build/ since #17, so it cannot return. I verified no other untracked-artifact patterns remain in git ls-files.
