Osthelia is an independent initiative built around a simple idea:
Esport can be better.
More inclusive. More accessible. More ethical. And, above all, more human.
We believe competition should bring people together — not exclude them, exploit them, or turn every interaction into a business opportunity.
We're tired of seeing the esport we love slowly become a machine for money, drama, and engagement at any cost.
Questionable platforms are promoted. Useful tools disappear behind paywalls. Communities are built around extraction rather than participation. And people are still judged because of their gender, ethnicity, identity.
We don't want to accept that as normal.
Osthelia exists to build alternatives.
Free. Accessible by default. Open to communities. And designed with people, not just for them.
Everyone deserves to feel like they belong.
Gender, ethnicity, trans identity, sexual orientation, disability, or difference should never be a reason to make someone feel unwelcome in esport.
There is room for everyone.
We don't want to normalize practices that hurt the communities we love.
That means questioning exploitative systems, endless drama, gambling-driven ecosystems, and business models that put money before people.
Not everything that works is worth building.
Access shouldn't depend on how much money you have.
Competition, information, tools, communities, and opportunities should be available to everyone - not reserved for those who can afford another subscription.
Not everything belongs behind a paywall.
Osthelia is not one project.
It's a collection of tools, platforms, and spaces that share the same purpose:
Progressively build the esport we want to see.
Some projects may be small. Some may take years. Some may fail.
That's okay.
What matters is that we're trying.

We're working on larger projects and smaller experiments - all moving toward the same goal.
We believe good ideas become better when people build them together.
