I'm Rodrigo β a Customer Engineer at Cloudflare, where I help teams design and ship things on the edge.
Before that I spent years as a software engineer across a few different companies, building backends, mobile apps and web platforms. I started my career at Cisco, which is where the networking bug bit me β and it never really let go. Packets, protocols and the weird places latency hides are still my favourite rabbit hole.
A good chunk of those years was at a German software house. I owned the architecture and global rollout of an OpenFGA authorization layer for a live medical platform running in 21 countries β the kind of RBAC problem where getting a permission check wrong is not a rounding error. I also led a team of five through four milestones, all delivered on time, while still writing code myself. Roadmap on one screen, pull requests on the other.
Outside work I tinker with AI agent tooling, dotfiles I'll never stop tweaking, and small space-themed side projects.
Edge & Cloudflare β most of my time goes to the Developer Platform: Workers and isolates, Durable Objects, Workflows, Queues, D1 / R2 / KV / Vectorize, Workers AI and the Agents SDK β plus the DNS, TLS and delivery layer underneath it. I build and run live demos of all of it at nobledemos.com/demo, and wrote up how the platform fits together at nobledemos.com/developer-platform.
Networking β TCP/IP, routing, BGP, DNS, TLS. The layer everything else quietly depends on.
Agent tooling & AI β TypeScript, Bun, OpenCode plugins, Biome, Vitest.
Backend & full-stack β Node.js, React, JavaScript, Java, Python, Shell, Docker, HTML/CSS.
