Scope mutation tracking to the selected backdrop
When any unrelated, non-overlay DOM node changes—for example, a frequently updated clock or status area elsewhere in the application—this document-wide observer calls sourceChanged() for every mounted glass group. Each group can consequently perform a full backdrop snapshot up to 12 times per second even when its explicit backdrop and rendered pixels are unchanged, multiplying an expensive DOM reconstruction across groups. Observe the resolved backdrop and relevant ancestors instead, rebinding that scope when the backdrop changes.
Useful? React with 👍 / 👎.
React Glaze now includes composable glass surfaces and ready-made morphing interactions alongside the existing LiquidGlass wrapper. Split actions can open as a row, column or fan with adjustable direction, size, trigger distance, connection reach, refraction and spring timing.
The Components page combines Split actions, Morphing menu and the full Liquid Glass editor. Playback can pause and scrub the actual animation, and material adjustments preserve the open or paused view. Existing Playground links retain their configuration through redirects.
Validation: 173 package tests and 31 demo tests, public types, lint and production build pass. The independently installed 0.2.0 archive builds in Next.js and matches all distribution files. Browser checks cover menu interaction, live tuning, playback, stage fitting and existing editor migration. The original wrapper is preserved; iPhone Safari remains experimental.
