Add start date as a field and URL query parameter

The start date is always set to today. If somebody copies a link to the expression and shares it with someone who visits it at a later date/time, they will see a different output of occurrences. Consider adding a field that can be changed by the user. The “Copy Link” button should then also add the start date as a query parameter to the copied URL. The application should use the parameter from the URL during initialisation, but assume today if unavailable.

Right and at which point, we'd be converging with my original attempt. That's what prompted me to ask where we want to go with this.
