The URL pointed at the FluidTYPO3/view repository, which has been deleted, so the link was dead. The text already noted this with "[not available anymore]", but the bare URL was still auto-linked, offering readers a link that cannot work. Wrapping it in :samp: keeps the URL visible as part of the historical record while preventing it from being turned into a link, which is the convention this documentation uses for URLs that should not be linked.
