Drake asked for every page on aienos.com to look and feel like https://www.aienos.com/turing/#film.

What changes

  • New shared layer public/assets/turing-look.css, linked last from the Rust layout (layouts/base.rs) and from every hand-written page under public/ except /turing/ itself.
  • Near-black field with a soft blue and green glow replaces the technical grid; blue capital kickers; heavier headings and larger leads; 18px rounded cards that lift on hover; pill badges; primary and ghost buttons as on /turing/; blue-to-green reading bar; fade-up as cards enter.
  • No script, no outside fonts. The bar and fade use CSS scroll timelines and are absent in browsers without them. Motion honours prefers-reduced-motion.

Checks

  • cargo test: 78 passed.
  • build and verify: Integrity & Unslop Invariants PASS.
  • Screenshots at 1280 and 390 wide of home, research, a paper page, machine, progress, blog, research status, licensing: no horizontal scroll at 390.

Note against the voice rules

The aien-voice skill asks for light and dark modes and an amber accent. The Turing page is dark only with a blue and green accent, and Drake asked for that look everywhere, so this follows the Turing page.

One shared layer, public/assets/turing-look.css, loaded last on every
generated and hand-written page (the Turing page keeps its own styles):
clean near-black field with a soft blue and green glow in place of the
grid, blue capital kickers, heavier headings, larger leads, 18px
rounded cards that lift on hover, pill badges, the Turing page's two
button styles, a blue-to-green reading bar and a fade-up as cards
enter. No script: the bar and fade use CSS scroll timelines where the
browser has them and are absent elsewhere; motion respects
prefers-reduced-motion.

…e empty gaps

The research index, every paper page and the licensing page swap their
old four-link menu (and one stale copy that still pointed at a waitlist)
for the site's shared header. Paper pages lost large empty gaps: their
own section margin was stacking on the site-wide section padding.

A small shared script, public/js/turing-look.js, runs the same two
effects /turing/ does: the blue-to-green reading bar and a glide-up
fade as sections and cards come into view, cards in a row arriving one
after another. It replaces the scroll-timeline CSS, which tied the fade
to scroll position and did nothing in Firefox. Pages also cross-fade
into each other (CSS view transitions, Turing page included). Without
the script, or with reduced motion requested, everything simply shows.
