USBStat runs entirely on your Mac. It does not collect, transmit or store any of your data, makes no network connections, and requires no account. The app is fully sandboxed.
- macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or later
- Click the USBStat icon in the menu bar to open the panel.
- Connect a USB device — it appears in the list with its details.
- For mounted volumes you'll see live disk usage, an Eject button and a Reveal in Finder button.
- Toggle Launch at Login at the bottom of the panel to start USBStat automatically.
- Right-click the menu bar icon to Quit.
