Change

  • Add a read-only Python verifier that separately recomputes the protocol-3 on-disk commitment for quiescent authority and anchor snapshots.
  • Check checkpoint agreement, record schemas, grant/operation/claim links, file ownership and permissions, locks, unexpected entries, and duplicate JSON keys.
  • Document how this cross-runtime check complements the JavaScript inspector's reconciliation report and why a jointly restored pair can still pass.

Verification

  • npm test — 1,033 tests passed on current main.
  • Focused anchor, inspection, and verifier suites — 34 passed.
  • git diff --check passed.

The verifier is project-authored and does not validate a historical hash chain, unresolved provider outcomes, or a provider effect.
