So next one of the maintainers (@cgwalters or @alicefr, or another maintainer if necessary, but I'd recommend one of the maintainers who sponsored), would add you to the org and the appropriate triage access for repos: https://github.com/bootc-dev/community/blob/main/GOVERNANCE.md:

Project Contributors who are approved will be invited to the bootc GitHub organization and granted Triage permissions on the project repositories.

Then note it was done here and close the issue :)

Note: I recommend creating a contributor team, setting up the access there, and then just adding people as necessary to that team to auto-give permissions.

Also, note this is not maintainer status, just contributor status. Careful that we follow governance rules here, please.
