How to install it and run it on Android v10?

Hello,
I downloaded the zip file and unpacked a folder with several subfolders with files in them but cannot see any way to install it or to run it. I found a readme file with installation instructions for Windows and Linux but nothing for Android. I also tried to download it from F-Droid and Google Play Store, no avail. at neither of them. Is this a dead app for Android or just am I missing something?

Sounds like you have a folder with files to compile on your computer, to build the app yourself.

With AndroidOS, the file extension you need is an '.apk'
Below is the link to the correct package for downloading, when done just click or choose 'install',
If you are directed to choose another app to "open" this package, choose "package installer". Good luck, friend.
