Immutable asynchronous checkpoint for FS-005 and the protocol half of FS-006, paired with remote-client PR #43.

This checkpoint propagates recursive directory failures, hardens no-follow deletion behavior, and standardizes unsigned bounded Clipboard FileContents wire fields. It must be validated together with the paired Client checkpoint; branches are frozen while Actions run.

Local gates: fmt, all-target/all-feature check and Clippy, 171 Protocol tests, dependency audit, metadata, provenance, diff check, and fsck.
