Pull request overview

This PR adds a new documentation redirect intended to preserve an older “supported kernels” URL after docs restructuring.

Changes:

  • Add a redirect mapping from livepatch/reference/kernels/ to the new supported-kernels location in docs/redirects.txt.

💡 Add a code-review agent skill or configure MCP servers for context-aware, tailored reviews. Learn more in the docs.

docs/redirects.txt:126

  • The redirects file states that the destination path must exist in the docs source. client/reference/platform/supported-kernels/ does not exist (the page is client/reference/platform/supported-kernels.md), so this redirect will likely be ignored or fail at build time.
"livepatch/reference/kernels.md" "client/reference/platform/supported-kernels.md"

docs/.custom_wordlist.txt:33

  • The custom wordlist adds eTags, but the standard HTTP term is ETag/ETags (and the docs elsewhere already use ETag). Adding eTags here risks masking a typo/inconsistent terminology; consider updating the affected doc text to ETags (or ETag/"ETag header") and then updating this wordlist entry accordingly.

* Document GCS, Azure, IBM, and Oracle patch storage backends

Adds how-to pages for the four new patch storage backends (mirroring the
existing S3 page), updates the patch storage overview and the platform
configuration reference table with the new backends and options, and adds
a guide for migrating patches between storage backends using rsync.

* update docs

* update docs

* Use full patch-storage.* key names in cross-references; exclude Postgres from migration guide

- Cross-references to other config options in the platform configuration
  table now use the full patch-storage.* key rather than the bare option
  name, avoiding ambiguity.
- The migrating patches guide now explicitly scopes itself to the
  file-based storage backends and calls out that the Postgres backend
  isn't covered, since it stores patches in the database rather than
  as files.

* fix broken link

* exclude generated build files from lint-md

* Remove IBM HMAC-based auth references from public docs

ibm-access-key/ibm-secret-key are present in code but aren't intended
to be a publicly supported authentication method, so they're removed
from the config reference table and the IBM patch storage how-to guide.

* Update description for IBM Cloud Object Storage patch storage
