Cannot Sign Out Of Web GUI?

Good afternoon,

I am curious about whether something in the code needs to be changed to stop this popup from happening, or is there something misconfigured during my installation of Trinityx? I am unable to actually sign out without needing to close everything. It's quite frustrating when I have been testing view permissions. The workaround is keeping minimal tabs open when working on this.

Thank you for reporting this. TrinityX uses Dex with OpenID Connect for authentication. The page in your screenshot appears to be Open OnDemand’s default logout page, which may indicate that the logout request is not being redirected through the configured OIDC logout handler.

I tested the logout process on our controller but could not reproduce the same behaviour. Could you please provide the following details?

• Your TrinityX and Open OnDemand versions
• Your browser and browser version
• The exact steps you follow when logging out
• The URL shown in the browser immediately after clicking the logout button
• Whether you are automatically logged back in when you reopen or refresh Open OnDemand
• Whether the same behaviour occurs for all users
• Whether it also occurs in a private/incognito browser window
• Whether the Open OnDemand or Dex configuration was changed after installation or upgrade

Could you also provide the output of the following command?

sudo grep -nE 'logout_uri|logout_redirect|oidc_uri|dex_uri' \
/etc/ood/config/ood_portal.yml

If possible, please also share the /logout section from the generated Open OnDemand Apache configuration. Please remove any passwords, tokens, client secrets, or other sensitive information before posting configuration details.

A short screen recording showing the complete logout sequence would also be helpful.
