Moved unchanged out of nav/core (#66), which now holds only the navigation pieces both games use. ScreenMachine and StepTrace have no navigation dependency; BDSP's new-game intro drives them today. BDSP's new-game intro runs as a closed loop over the screens it knows: read the screen, take the one step that screen calls for, read again, and treat an unexpected screen or a state that keeps coming back as the sign of a dropped or wrong input. This adds that loop as its own module:
ScreenMachineruns it andStepTracelogs every recognized screen change with a numbered screenshot and every input, so a failure reports the screens that led up to it. Both files come unchanged out of #66, which now holds only the navigation pieces both games use; nothing here depends on navigation. BDSP's intro (PokemonBDSP_AutoStory_NewGame.cpp, on #68's stack) uses it today and FRLG's intro is next. There are no tests yet; CI checks that it builds on its own.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
