Drop the separate overview page and the unrelated UpdateClang link change. State the ccache 4.8 minimum (per-compilation settings on the command line), mention dependency options a normal build may need, and record the same-revision second-worktree result. Closed: the recipe is kept as tools/ccache.md on the agents branch (plain -D flags, no preset needed); the preset itself stays on branch build/local-ccache. Upstream copy PokemonAutomation#1767 was not merged. |

Every new worktree or branch switch on Mac meant a full 13–14 minute rebuild. This adds an opt-in
macos-ccachepreset (RelWithDebInfo plus a shared 10 GB ccache with checkout-relative paths, so worktrees can share cached compiles) and a short guide linked from the Mac build instructions; other presets and CI are unchanged. Tested on Apple Silicon: a second worktree at the same revision built in 41 s with 1,601 of 1,607 compiles from the cache, and a one-file edit rebuilt and linked in 21 s.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
