Builds and lab deployments add up fast: 2.1 GB per worktree build directory and 334 MB per lab deployment, 90% of it a copy of Resources, and ccache (PokemonAutomation#1767) speeds up rebuilds without shrinking any of them. This note says what to do (content-hash Resources snapshots, APFS clones for the console-B copy, pruning to 5 deployments per family, build directories only for worktrees in use, Packages shared only between branches with the same resources) and what doesn't work and why (one shared Resources, clones or hard links across deployments, deleting worktrees that have deployments), with the measurements behind each and a scan of current disk use. Lab deployments went from 4.2 GB to 0.7 GB of snapshots plus small .app copies.
