Recently, I implemented "ensembly" for long-reads, which uses myloasm, metaMDBG, and metaFlye. Should we do something similar for short reads, using both MEGAHIT and SPAdes so that one can fill gaps for the other? Or with such fragmented libraries, is that likely to have little benefit beyond keeping server farms warm for nvd?
