…ate failure Comment out the use 5.20; line to eliminate the Perl version dependency, resolving compatibility issues on systems where version checking causes problems lang: Add en-us, en-gb, en-ca English language variants - en-us: American English (default) - MM/dd/yyyy date format - en-gb: British English - dd/mm/yyyy date format, British spelling - en-ca: Canadian English - dd/mm/yyyy date format, British spelling - All other English variants (en-au, en-nz, en-ie, en-za, en-in, en-sg, en-my, en-ph, en-hk) are mapped to en-us or en-gb - Unified language detection via %LangBrowserToLangAwstats mapping - Removed hardcoded @supported array, use mapping table directly - Fallback to en-us.po instead of en.po
- Download DB-IP city-level database on first install - Monthly cron job for automatic database updates (3rd at 5:00 AM) - Fallback to previous month if current not available - Add progress output and error handling - Script placed in /etc/cron.d/ for easy management Reason for 3rd of month: DB-IP free database is typically released on the 1st of each month around 14:30 Beijing time (06:30 UTC). Running on the 3rd ensures the database is guaranteed to be available across all time zones, avoiding failed updates on the 1st when data may not be published yet.
