Cursor stays hidden after quitting

When enabling AutoHideCursor and then running
taskkill /F /IM AutoHideCursor.exe
the app is closed accordingly but the cursor stays hidden.
Should it be closed differently via cmd or is this a bug to be fixed?

taskkill /F forcefully terminates AutoHideCursor, so it does not get a chance to restore the cursor before exiting.

Please close the application normally instead of force-killing it while the cursor is hidden.

Closing this as expected behavior.
